Cranberry Conserve

This great condiment isn’t just for Thanksgiving; it adds flair to not only your holiday meal but your turkey sandwich the next day or as the perfect complement to a cheese board.

16oz Portion

12oz bag of fresh cranberries

¾ cup of sugar

1 Granny Smith apple peeled, cored and diced

1 orange zested and juiced

1 lemon zested and juiced

¾ cup of raisins

¾ cup of walnuts

In a saucepot, add cranberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Place over low heat for 5 minutes or until skin of cranberries pop open. Add the apple, zest, citrus juices and cook for 15 minutes more. Remove from the heat and stir in raisins and nuts. Pour in serving bowl or mason jars and let cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
