Areas of the Club that are Accessible

The Harvard Club of New York City is committed to providing the highest level of service to all of its members and guests including those with disabilities. HCNY offers a variety of accessible routes, features, elements, and amenities throughout the Clubhouse. Clubhouse spaces with accessible features include:

  • Guest Rooms
  • Front Desk
  • Concierge Desk
  • Restaurants
  • Private Event Rooms
  • Restrooms
  • Fitness Center

HCNY can provide the following on request:

  • Visual sensor in some of the ADA rooms
  • Assistive listening devices for private event rooms
  • Closed caption televisions

Guest Rooms

Guest Room 418 offers ADA mobility options including:

  • Accessible entry for interior
  • All door hardware is accessible and within reach range
  • Accessible path of travel within the guestroom
  • Electrical switches, receptacles and lighting controls are accessible

The bathroom in Guest Room 418 features include:

  • Turning space within the bathroom
  • Clear floor and maneuvering space at all fixtures
  • Accessible lavatory and faucet
  • Accessible water closet with grab bars
  • Accessible roll-in shower or accessible bathtub

Two additional guest rooms (406, 506) feature accessible bathtubs.
