The Plunge
One of the many nice features of the 1915 addition is this room on the seventh floor that contained the Plunge or swimming pool. It was connected to a room called the Solarium where members could sit and sun themselves through large windows. During WWII, the Plunge was sacrificed to the war effort and converted into a dormitory. In the early 1990s, it was again converted and is now home to the strength-training room of the fitness center.
