Admissions
Office: Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Audit Numbers:
Assigned to Members upon election, this number should be used on all transactions at the Club. Only a member may sign his or her name and audit number. Permission to do so may not be extended to family or friends under any circumstances. Spouses of members may apply for Signing Privileges.
Auto Rental Discount:
Avis Rent-A-Car Systems offers members a discount on car rentals for business and personal travel. Cards are obtainable through the Club Office.
Business Meetings: Private rooms may be engaged for such purposes through the Special Events or you may call 212-827-1209.
Admissions Committee: meets with applicants for Club admission.
House Committee: oversees the operation of the Clubhouse.
Program Committee: plans and coordinates programs.
Schools and Scholarships Committee: interviews candidates for admission to Harvard College.

Members are encouraged to contact the Manager's Office to learn how they may become more active.
Dining in Downtown New York:
Harvard Club Members may sign for food and beverage at The Down Town Association
located at 60 Pine Street. To make use of this fine establishment, simply show your
Harvard Club membership card. For reservations call 212-422-1982.
The Down Town Association serves breakfast Monday-Friday 7:30-9:30 AM, and luncheon
12:00-2:30 PM. Bar service is available 11:30 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Friday.
Dress Code for the Down Town Association: Jacket and tie in the Main Dining Room;
Business casual elsewhere in the Club. Harvard Club Members sign all checks with their
Club audit number and indicate they are from the Harvard Club. All charges will be billed to
their Harvard Club account. Club member will be charged a $3.00 guest fee per person.
Dress Code
Front Desk:
Available 24 hours per day to assist you: 212-840-6600.
Guest Privileges:
Available upon written introduction by a member and in accordance with
the House Rules for a one week period. Fee is $18. Contact the Front Desk regarding these
arrangements.
Holidays:
The Clubhouse is open every day. Services are limited on weekends and on the following
holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial
Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving,
and Christmas. Special holiday meals are served on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Passover,
and Mother's Day for which advance reservations are required through the Program Office
212-827-1202 or programs@hcny.com. Holiday schedules are published here and in the
monthly newsletter and are posted in the Clubhouse on the signboard located in the Lobby.

Members' Work Center:
Located at the lower level of the Clubhouse contains work stations
for members who wish to read, do their personal work or make use of personal computers
and telephones. Four carrels are equipped with PCs that may be used by members.
The PCs have popular word processing, spreadsheets and Internet browsing programs.
Front Desk handles all arrangements for this area.
Newspapers:
Available daily on the table in Harvard Hall and in the Library.
Papers: Business meetings shall not be conducted in Harvard Hall, the Main Dining Room, the Grill Room, the Library or other public rooms of the Club unless the House Committee, in its sole discretion, shall have given special permission in advance, and members shall not display in those areas papers or documents which are or appear to be of a business nature. Private rooms may be engaged for such purposes under the control and at the discretion of the House Committee.
Effective January 8, 1991, and until further notice, the discreet display of papers of a business nature will be permitted at lunchtime on the Dining Room Balcony during its regular scheduled serving hours. During non-serving hours, members may display papers at the communal table located at the northwest corner of the Dining Room Balcony.
Parking: HCNY parking discount validations can be obtained at the Front Desk. Harvard Club of NYC does not offer valet parking. For more information on Parking CLICK HERE

Wheelchair accessibility of the Clubhouse:
The entrance to the Harvard Club at 35 West
44th Street is at sidewalk level and wheelchair accessible. The elevators in the 35 West
building are fully ADA compliant as well as the women's locker room. Restrooms and
overnight rooms are also accessible. The only place that may be difficult to access is
the men's athletic locker room on the sixth floor.
